Continental Fruit is Jon Øyvind Lærum. A Norwegian artist who makes ambient, experimental and electronic music. He started out in 1995 in his home-studio with some borrowed synths, a mic and a few sparse effects. He later expanded his musical gear and contributed on various compilations, different collaborations and a few releases of his own. Sound-textures with nearness, playfulness and soulful appearance, despite his electronic approach, are some of his characteristics and can be enjoyed on this album.
