August 2016 marked the end of the VHS. Conceived in Japan in 1976 by the company JVC, VHS came to revolutionize the way films where distributed and home movies made. Funai Electric was the last company to still produce this wonderful machine, right up to to 2016, making the VHS 40 years old! This called for an homage, lament and celebration. So after selecting ten tracks heavily influenced by this era (especially the 80's) I decided to make a VHS-album, naming it after the first VHS-player to come of the production lines. But the visual content was missing, so I asked a handful of my friends if they were interested in contributing. First come first serve was the guideline, and they only had (less) than two weeks to finish. Two weeks later a had a collection of nine beautiful videos (ten including my own) and started sawing it all together. Get your physical copy at Tiger, stream the music it below or buy it here! Released through OM Records. My good friend and collaborator, Pablo Castro designed the most awesome cover and helped me execute the release party that took place at 1857.
